Sport rafting on the river Bystraya
The river Bystraya (Malkinskaya) located in the central part of the peninsula. It’s the right creek of the river Bolshaya, which is the largest river in the western coast and the second on the length in Kamchatka. It is the place of spawning of 40 thousand King Salmon, and more than 300 thousand of Sockeye Salmon. It was the time when you could see here more than 20 mln of Pink Salmon, more than 100 thousand of Chum Salmon, and more than 200 thousand of Silver Salmon. The river is rich with Char, grayling, rainbow Trout and East Siberian Char.
The lucky fisherman may catch Steelhead salmon and trout which are listened in the Red Book.
At the beginning of the rafting the width of river is from 20 to 40 m, in the lower part from 50 to 100m. The speed of the flow - 1,5-1,9 m/s, depth - 1,5-8 m. The temperature of water - 5-8 degrees. The river flows along the valley between the Sredinnyi Khrebet (Middle Range) and Ganalskey Khrebet. Then it goes through the Sredinnyi Khrebet into the west part of the lowland and divides into the numerous creeks. Here you’ll see the many aspects of nature in harmony where the beautiful blossoming valleys are changed by mountain ridges.
Program:
1 day: Transportation by track to the village Malki. The beginning of rafting.
2 day: Rafting with fishing.
3 day: The end of rafting in Bolsheretskey bridge. Return to the town.
The following is included into the price:
- Food and accommodation in the route;
- Transportation in the route;
- Ammunition on the route;
- Services of the attending personal (a guide, a cook);
Two guides service the group of fishermen from 2 till 8 persons. Besides the experienced guides, there is a cook. At the route you are offered fresh prepared dishes, delicious fish and meat, fruits, vegetables, biscuits, soft drinks, mushrooms and berries.
Price: 350 $ per person
The number of persons in the group: 4 - 8 people.
